Today in the ES there were a few nice trading opportunities where the setup was clear on the Orderflows Trader software. The reason I developed the Orderflows Trader software was because I wanted an order flow chart to show me what I always look for on the chart. The reason behind this thinking is because I have found that once I am in a trade, my normal line of thinking becomes biased towards the position I have on. I could never understand why people think that trading futures in the overnight session is a bad or scary thought? Or that you have to disregard the overnight session completely. That is just wrong and short sighted. Some markets like the ES have very good volume once Asia opens and once Europe opens. Delta is a term used by order flow traders to define the net buying or selling that took place for a given bar. It is calculated by using tick data and seeing who initiated the trade, either the buyer or seller. If more sellers initiated the trade, then the delta is considered negative.
